In the selection of a Herd Sire (proven producer) or a Herd Bull Prospect (youngster) there are many attributes to consider because the fact is that the bull servicing your cows contributes 1/2 the genetics to each of your offspring that year. In a short matter of time you will see that he is fully worth 1/2 the value of your entire herd. Calved 17Jan2000, this senior bull has a record of producing about 80% heifers in the 30# birth weight range, this bull has a compact deep back, a thick rear (butt) end and a strong genetic base to transfer to his offspring. He is a proven herd bull. His disposition is gentle, toward female cows and man. He tends the cow in heat gently yet assertively. He is no problem in haltering and leads easily to service and trailer. His heifers have been selling in the price range from $2,500 (in 2003) at birth to $15,000 as 2 year olds. He SOLD for stud to Trinity, Texas. We have quality frozen semen available to ship so you can add some dynamic females to your herd.

KNF DON CARLOS Calved 3/6/08, True Pure Blood son of KNF CIBOLO x KNF TEXAS LILLY. This is the first bull calf born to any of our Lilly line cows. Like them he has exceptionally broad front and rear quarters. And like his sire he has the depth of back and gentle nature. In his first breeding season he covered nine virgin heifers and one cow. It was a pleasure to see him work the heifers and cow, gaining sure dominance over them and getting the job done. Going into Winter Pasture he is 40" tall and weighs 600# at 18 months of age. He is all grass-fed, chunky, low lined and determined to excel. If you are looking for real Red Power in a small package he he is. He is available for $5,500. KNF FULL-O-BULL is a bit lighter in weight and shorter, but still meets our Herd Sire Selection protocol. We had 2 bull calves that made the cut in 2008 and this was our #2 bull. Going into the Winter of 2009 he stands 39" at the hip and weighs 475 lbs.
He is gentle and thrifty. Excellent conformation and markings in a young Mini Hereford Bull.

Calved 6Mar03, this young herd bull has the best disposition we have ever experienced. More than one visitor has hopped on his back for a short ride!
